HISTORY OF OUR COMPANY Jack Collier joined with George Lackey in 1968 to start what is now one of the most thriving real estate companies in the area. It has enjoyed continued growth over the years, with the highlight coming in 1979 when it became a CENTURY 21 franchise. The company has stayed successful to this day in large part by adhering to the tenets established by Jack Collier: honesty, integrity and forthrightness. It is a simple theory, yet an extremely important one, one that is not lost on their valued clients. In 1988, Collier's son, Jim Collier bought the business as sole owner/broker after 10 years of training under his father. Jim continues the same type of service today, leading the way with his own quality service & high production level. The realty's focus on the customer is matched in few other businesses. For each of the past 7 years, the local Company has received a Pinnacle Quality Service Award through CENTURY 21, a pretty remarkable achievement considering only about 400 of the more than 6,000 branches nationwide are so recognized. The Pinnacle is based on service--a survey of clients' satisfaction levels as opposed to production volume. Production, however, is an important aspect to the company, as evidenced by their success at yearly Century 21 awards presentations. The majority of the staff receive recognition as multi-million dollar producers. Staff members receive on-going professional training to stay at the top of their field. All agents are full-time. CENTURY 21 Collier & Company is a full-service real estate company covering Henderson, Union and Webster counties with a wide range of services for residential and commercial transactions, including "one-stop shopping" with mortgage financing taking place right in their office. Henderson's CENTURY 21 Collier & Company started back in the days when homes were sold with a handshake, and although a bit more paperwork is involved nowadays, the feel-good feeling of buying or selling property with an honest Realtor remains the same.
