HISTORY When Jack Collier moved his family from Lebanon, Ky., to Henderson in 1959 to run the Ben Franklin store, he had little idea he would later turn his career focus toward real estate. But when he did six years later, breaking into the field with the late Owen Gregory, it was the beginning of a career that would eventually become one of the more respected businesses in Henderson County. Jack eventually became co-owner of what would later be renamed Gregory & Collier Real Estate, which provided insurance and real estate to their friends and neighbors. Jack then joined with George Lackey in 1968 to start what is now one of the more thriving real estate companies in the area. It has enjoyed continued growth over the years, with the highlight coming in 1979 when it became a CENTURY 21 franchise.
